Lucid Cats is a family-owned business founded in 2024. It just so happened that a few months later, we had the opportunity to take a road trip across the country with our dogs. During our journey, we noticed that items sold in local shops often reflected the beauty and character of the surrounding landscapes. Inspired by this connection, we decided to pause our business after the trip to make some meaningful changes. We want our website and the products we offer to truly capture and represent the essence of our business landscape and the things that inspire our work.

In our family, we believe our pets make us better people. They have a special way of brightening our lives and remind us to enjoy the little things. Over time, our pets naturally become the heart of our homes and cherished members of the family. That’s exactly why our landscape focuses on our four-legged companions. Whether you are a dog, cat, or fish person, we wanted to have a variety of fun and functional products for all kinds of house pet families and animal lovers to enjoy.

Another important aspect of our landscape, is to make the places where we spend most of our time comfortable and speaks to our own pet-loving nature. That space can be the car you drive every day, the office you work from, or the apartment where you unwind after a long day. The Lucid Cats work space is an eclectic mix of things that we love and sparks our creativity. Our love is animals, but our vibe is rooted in a mix of retro style, pop culture, cryptid and kawaii enthusiasm.

Our landscape isn’t complete without high quality, unique goods. Our team is made up of some talented people—and animals, so we enjoy offering many of our own designs and products. From t-shirts featuring our furry ambassadors’ cute faces, to 3D printed keychains and fidgets, we love sharing our creative side. We also met some wonderful artisans and shop owners while traveling, which is why we stock a few brands that are designed or manufactured by independent artisans or other small businesses located throughout the country. Some of these wonderful businesses support animal advocacy and charitable organizations; something important to us as well. We share information on those brands in a product’s description so you can see how your purchase contributes to making life better for people and our animal friends.

We are working on creating a newsletter to share new products coming to the shop, but in the meantime you can sign up to be added to our email list (we promise not to spam)!
